Our Mission

Beyond the development of physical prowess and athletic ability, judo students learn much more.

They learn how to control their feelings, emotions, and impulses. They learn about values of perseverance, respect, loyalty, and discipline. Judo students develop an outstanding work ethic, as well as important social manners and etiquette. They learn to overcome their fears, and to show courage under pressure. Through competition and the rigors of daily practice, they learn about justice and fairness. Through their experience, they learn about politeness, modesty, and many other wonderful values that contribute to their development as successful citizens of society. As such, our judo facility (Tani Koi Judo) develops the important moral knowledge and values, those that are important to help people to become active and contributing members of their communities, nations, and the world. In this way, judo students play an important role in developing societies, and creating new and better communities for the future.

Adult Class

Here at Tani Koi Judo, we are true believers in the adage: age is just a number. Whether you are a junior or a senior, it’s never too late to develop a new skill and stay fit in the process. Our judo classes for adults will teach you advanced techniques and provide plenty of opportunities to boost your stamina, improve your focus and coordination.

Youth Class

Our Youth judo class is designed to help your children reach their highest potential. We don’t stop at teaching our students the basic principles of judo, but also focus on building their character. The intense training will teach them a lot about discipline, confidence, focus, and respect.

Kinder Judo

Our Kinder Judo classes offer weekly lessons that can teach your children the basic movements of this dynamic combat sport. But, there’s more to it than just a basic introduction to the martial arts. We’ll also focus on teaching your little one self-control, discipline, and respect all in a fun and safe environment.

Say hello!

A great martial artist understands that it takes a team effort to build a great athlete.  Coaches, team members, parents, sponsors, therapists.  They all take up an important roll to help you reach your goals. So always stay humble, respectful, and kind.
